For the first 28 seconds this cliff jumper is in free fall. This is so because free fall is when the only force that is acting on an object is gravity. Because we know gravity will be 9.8 for any situation, and we know that acceleration will be the constant gravity you can use the equation d=1/2at^2, and replace the a with g or 9.8. You can also figure out the velocity using the equation velocity=(gravity)(time) and use 9.8 for gravity.
Well Isabelle, I would like to start by saying it is my honor to comment on your video post. The idea of cliff diving was almost as intriguing as you. One thing that I loved about your video was that it was so good that i forgot i was watching it for homework. One thing that is similar to my video is that we both have the idea of cliff diving (sky diving). One thing that is different is that my video talked about things dealing with free fall that weren't strictly cliff diving. My video also had mathematical equations and explanations of free fall. One question I have is will you cliff dive or sky dive with me before we die?
