Picture Unit 1

In this picture I am throwing a box into the air. When the object in this case a box is set into motion, it will remain in motion until an outside force is exerted upon it. We know this because of Newton’s first law of motion. When I first release the box from my hand it is set in motion. The reason it continues upward is because it has nothing to stop it. That is until the outside force of gravity is exerted upon it. Because of gravity the object is forced back to the ground.

  1. I liked how you gave a picture to your blog so it makes it easier for the reader to understand what is being said. Maybe you could add an arrow showing the pull of gravity and in what direction it is pulling the tissue box to.
